Farmerette Fire and Brimstone Cowgirl Boots (Olive Green with Fushia flames)

Using the Strobel method to construct the boot. Custom dyed and hand cut Italian aniline leather (a process of dying the leather that still enables the buttery soft leather to breathe). These boots are fully lined in calfskin leather, light weight, ridiculously comfortable, and beautifully hand stitched by the best calzolai in Italy.

Just like wanting to know where your food comes from (I do still grain farm and run a herd of beef cattle with my husband), It was crucial, as a designer, who has seen the underbelly of the fast fashion world, to know exactly how the studio/manufacturer operates. Ethically and environmentally. My third generation Calzolaio in Marche Italy does not compromise.
